  • Describe anatomical and physiological changes across each trimester and their implications for massage.

  • Identify contraindications, red flags, and safety considerations; recognize symptoms that require medical referral.

  • Conduct thorough prenatal intake, create and use a prenatal‑relevant intake form, and obtain informed consent.

  • Demonstrate safe positioning, bolstering, and professional draping for pregnant clients.

  • Perform a full‑body prenatal massage and adapt sessions to address common pregnancy discomforts.

  • Modify techniques and session plans appropriately for high‑risk pregnancies; document sessions accurately (High‑Risk Pregnancy module: 4 hours).

  • Apply trauma‑informed, client‑centered communication throughout care.

  • Select and apply safe topical products and accessories (essential oils, lotions, rebozos), including product knowledge and contraindications.

  • Explain the holistic benefits of prenatal massage, including how it reduces stress hormones (cortisol) and supports increases in serotonin and dopamine.

Ideal for licensed massage therapists and bodywork professionals seeking specialized prenatal skills, this course blends theory, hands‑on practice, and documentation best practices to ensure confident, client‑safe care.
